THOMAS GOMEZ JOINS AGDATAHUB TO SUPPORT THE CHIEF SERVICE OFFICER GAËLLE CHÉRUY-POTTIAU, ON THE CONSULTING DEPARTMENT. PRESENTATION.
At 30 years old, Thomas Gomez has already had a successful career in digital agriculture. He spent two years in California as an AgroTIC engineer for the company ITK. He oversaw the deployment of a web-based vine irrigation management tool. He then worked as product owner of a forestry operation management application for the “Office National des Forêts” (the French forest service).
Making data work for agriculture
For Thomas, “innovation in agriculture is a concrete soluting in tackling sustainable development challenges”. Driven by this conviction, he chose to join Agdatahub to “use agricultural data to create a more resilient and sustainable agriculture“.
Thomas Gomez graduated from Montpellier SupAgro in 2015 with a degree in agricultural engineering and a specialisation in information and communication technologies. He first worked as a geomatics project manager for a start-up in the south of France. Thanks to this professional experience, he has acquired solid skills in the use of data and its geospatial representation.
Digital transformation of agricultural sectors
In April, Thomas became the sixth member of the Agdatahub team. Under the supervision of CSO Gaëlle Chéruy-Pottiau, Thomas operates as a project manager, where he focuses on service development. They are both involved in issues related to the use and exchange of agricultural data in the context of the digital transformation of agricultural sectors.

- Project management assistance with a role as architect of the realization, definition of objectives, schedules, and associated resources
- User support: product adaptation, development of new features, launching of tools
Thanks to his previous experiences and his dedication, Thomas guarantees the presentation quality of technical and functional elements and supports the deployment of Agdatahub’s client projects.
