European data spaces: the "Gaia-X ready" agricultural and agri-food data space with Agdatahub

Agdatahub, a step ahead for Europe's 10 million farmers

With dozens of use cases already in operation, including optimisation of crop protection products, environmental labelling, animal genetics and carbon credits, Agdatahub guarantees traceability, control and confidence by applying the latest de facto Gaia-X standard.

Today, more than 2,000 users from a wide range of organisations are connected to the platform deployed by Agdatahub to exchange data in a trusted environment. These participants benefit from advanced functionalities such as a secure digital identity wallet, a consent and authorisation manager, a data catalogue, a contract manager and a data transaction orchestrator, using technologies from Dawex, Orange Business and IN Groupe.

For Agdatahub, as for the various Gaia-X members in Europe, trust is in fact a key element in enabling the creation of federated data spaces and stimulating the European data economy.

Agdatahub and Gaia-X: for a Europe of data based on transparency, openness and sovereignty

Agdatahub has chosen to operate its data intermediation platform with technological services developed by recognised publishers, who guarantee the functional upgrades of their products and the implementation of the market's technological and regulatory standards.

Agdatahub has therefore chosen to work with technology partners who have already implemented the de facto Gaia-X standard, namely Dawex with its Data Exchange technology and Orange Business with its trusted hosting and clearing house, now available in beta mode.

These implementations, presented at the Gaia-X 2023 summit, provide a concrete demonstration of the interoperability of Agdatahub's catalogue of data offerings, as well as the Gaia-X compliance of participants' identities over time, with other platforms from agricultural institutes in Belgium or agricultural machinery in Germany.
